Democratic National Committeewoman Jenny Greenleaf
Jenny Greenleaf signed up as an active Democrat in 2002. Since that time, she's been on a mission to figure out how the Democratic Party works and to revitalize and reform it. Fleeing a dot.bomb job, she took a break from her high-tech career and became a dedicated volunteer for Democrats in 2002. She has worked on several projects, including volunteering on the 2002, 2004, and 2006 Coordinated Campaigns, organizing fundraisers, wrangling volunteers, training precinct workers, managing the ballot collection program, and building a web site for the Party. Jenny was elected to serve a four-year term on the Democratic National Committee in December 2004.
Jenny originally hails from North Dakota, but had the good fortune to choose the University of Oregon for college. She has lived here since with the exception of what she refers to as a "seven-year sentence" in California's Silicon Valley. She runs a small high-tech consulting firm between volunteer projects.
Jenny and her husband, Tom Cocklin, have two kids and two cats.
